Due to its open structure, Asterisk has almost become a standard for the implementation of modern and powerful telephone systems. As a result of its enormous flexibility and efficiency, the systems of Asterisk are used for the establishment of telephone systems, media-gateways, media-servers up to the implementation of big calling centers.
